WiTEST engineers developed and proved a unique ATE solution approach in which all instrumentation and test equipment is interfaced to test computer using a single Ethernet cable and an Ethernet switch. The solution provides Ethernet, serial, digital I/O and I2C interfaces to units under test while reducing the proliferation of interfaces buss technologies to a single Ethernet interface that allows the test machine to be miles or even continents away from the actual test equipment.
Using NI LabVIEW a feature rich parallel test capable test executive platform was developed meeting the specific test requirements in a cost effective and scalable approach. The automated test software provides flexible test setup, execution, monitoring and reporting capabilities for parallel testing of large number of unites under test.
